NASCAT on Base

NASCAT came up on the stock-token chain. Now it's on Base — where the COIN ticker lives. One goal, no lore: the cat wants the listing.

The contract address will be published here and on X at launch. Only trust the CA on this page.

The story

Why a Nasdaq cat belongs on Base

Coinbase is a Nasdaq-listed company. Base is Coinbase's chain. Coinbase is leaning into memes. The story writes itself — we just put a cat in a suit in front of it.

01

The ticker is the thesis

COIN trades on the Nasdaq. NASCAT lives on the chain COIN built. Every candle on the board behind the cat is a stock — this is the one crypto cat that actually reads the tape.

02

A coin that pays like a stock

Stocks pay dividends. So does NASCAT: trading fees become USDC — Coinbase's dollar — paid straight to holders' wallets. No staking, no claiming, no points.

03

Built, not just launched

Base is for building. The dividend engine is a real, verified, admin-less contract other Base creators can plug into — every token that adopts it pays NASCAT holders a cut.

Product

NASCAT Pays building

Holder dividends in USDC. Creator fees from the pool are claimed, swapped to USDC and split pro-rata by on-chain balance. The distributor has no withdraw function — funds can only go to holders.

01

Fees accrue

Every swap of $NASCAT earns creator fees on the pool. Those fees are pointed at the distributor contract, not a wallet.

02

Swap to USDC

A permissionless distribute() claims the fees and swaps them to USDC on Uniswap. Anyone can call it; nobody can redirect it.

03

Holders get paid

USDC lands in every eligible holder's wallet, proportional to balance. Contracts and dust wallets are skipped on-chain.

Open to every Base creator

NASCAT Pays isn't a launchpad — it plugs into the pads Base already uses. Point your token's fee recipient at a NASCAT distributor and your holders earn USDC too. The protocol takes a small cut, and that cut goes to $NASCAT holders. More adopters, bigger cat dividend.

Status

The distributor is being ported from the live Robinhood-chain version (where it already pays holders in tokenized stocks). It ships after launch as the first feature drop; the verified address will appear here.

Trust

Anti-rug by construction

Vested dev bag

The dev allocation is locked in a public Sablier stream that unlocks linearly. No cliff dumps — you can watch it tick.

View the stream →Stream link is posted here at launch.

Verified & immutable

The token is a standard pad-deployed ERC-20: no mint, no pause, no blacklist, no tax switch. Source verified on Basescan the day it launches.

Locked liquidity

Liquidity is created and locked by the launchpad at deploy — it never touches the dev wallet. Fees go to the distributor, not to us.

The OG

There is one NASCAT on Base

A stray "Nascat" token was deployed to Uniswap on Base earlier and never traded. This is the original Nasdaq cat — same name, same ticker, same cat that ran on Robinhood Chain — brought to Base by the team that built it.

How to tell

  • The CA is published only on this page and the official X.
  • It launched on o1.exchange, not a bare Uniswap pool.
  • Dev bag is in a Sablier stream, linked above.
  • Basename: nascat.base.eth

Lineage

NASCAT launched on Robinhood Chain with a native launchpad and stock-dividend tech (the router, registry and distributor are all verified there). Base gets the coin first and the tech second — this time the cat leads.

FAQ

Questions

Is this the same NASCAT as the Robinhood Chain one?

Same cat, same team, same name and ticker. It is a separate token on a separate chain; holding one does not entitle you to the other.

Do I have to claim dividends?

No. Once NASCAT Pays is live, USDC is sent to your wallet by the distributor. You just hold.

When do dividends start?

NASCAT Pays ships after launch as the first feature drop. The status badge above and the verified address in the Verify table are the only signals that matter.

Is Coinbase involved?

No. NASCAT is a community meme token on Base. Coinbase and Nasdaq have nothing to do with it and don't endorse it. The cat just wants the listing.

Where's the dev bag?

In a Sablier stream linked in the Trust section. If there's no link, it hasn't launched yet.
